About
BUROGU
The very first post in this blog (which might not have been read by many) sums this topic up.
GAKUSEI
Sou desu. If you’re actually like me who’s been patching up on Nihongo vocabs, you would know that that word above translates to student. I’m just a college student in the Philippines who’s apparently blogging about the things I hope I’ll be able to first-handedly see one day. I’m supposed to be talking about myself here like a real blogger writing up an About page but I’d rather that you read my blog posts or if you insist, check me out in the social networking sites (icons) on the right. ^^
EDIT: Gomen. I probably don’t have much posts by the time you read this as I’m just starting out. Please give it time, onegaishimasu! ^^
TOU・NEN
After weeks of searching for the perfect j-blogging URL, I ended up with Higashinen. Higashi 東 is the Japanese word for East and nen 念 roughly translates to sense, idea, thought, feeling, desire, concern, attention, and care. But who would want a very long and quite hard to remember URL? Disregarding the fact that what I did is really technically wrong and that there’s no such word, I got the on reading for higashi instead and ended up registering the domain name tounen.com.
I'm not Japanese nor am I living in Japan but I do love the Japanese culture.
